LONDON – Purcell Room, Southbank Centre - Thursday 19th March 7:45pm: Equator Festival is proud to present The London Tango Orchestra and Tango Fever. The orchestra is a real 'orquesta tipica' uniting leading UK tango musicians with players from Argentina and featuring the music of Piazzolla.
Hosted by Tony Walker of Tango on the Thames, lift your holiday celebrations with Argentinean tango in The Clore Ballroom.
Get here early for a taster class, watch a tango demonstration and then get stuck in yourself and dance the afternoon away.
Live music provided by Tango Al Toque, led by Tim Sharp (piano), Martin Espindola (guitar, bandoneon and vocals) and Anna Clarence (violin).
